2048 Puzzle ("the app") is published by Aditya Singh. This policy explains what the app collects and why. It applies to the Android app with the package name com.aditya.puzzle2048.

The short version

The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and never asks you for your name, email, phone number, photos, contacts, files or location. Your game progress is stored on your own device. Three Google services do collect limited technical data, described below.

Your game progress

Your levels, stars, coins, power-ups, best scores and settings are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. The app itself never uploads them and has no server of its own.

Android's own Auto Backup is enabled, which means Android may copy that save file to your personal Google Drive so your progress survives moving to a new phone. That backup belongs to you, is covered by Google Drive's terms, and does not count against your Drive storage. Neither we nor anyone else can read it. You can switch it off in Android Settings under Google → Backup, and uninstalling the app with backup disabled removes the data permanently.

What is collected

Google AdMob shows the ads in the app. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type and information about the ads you were shown, in order to serve and measure ads. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Google Analytics for Firebase records anonymous, aggregated events about how the game is played — for example which level was started, whether it was cleared or failed, and how many moves were used. This is used to find levels that are too hard or broken. It is not linked to your identity.

Firebase Crashlytics records a diagnostic report if the app crashes, including the device model, Android version and the technical stack trace. This is used to fix the crash.

None of these contain your name, email address or any content you typed.

Consent

Where the law requires it (including the EEA and the UK), the app shows Google's consent form the first time you open it, and no ads are requested until you have made a choice. You can change that choice at any time: pause the game and tap PRIVACY, which reopens the same form. That option is only shown in the regions where it applies.

How long the data is kept

We keep nothing ourselves, because we operate no servers and receive no identifiable data. Retention is Google's:

Because none of it is tied to your name or an account, we have no way to look up "your" data. The controls below are what is available to you.
